Onboarding:

There are no contracts and no sign up fees. Each athlete will begin the process by filling out an athlete questionnaire. After the questionnaire is received, Rx3 Performance will set up a one hour phone consultation with the coach of your choice. The Rx3 coach will then begin building the specific, intuitive, and unique training plan to be delivered via TrainingPeaks.com software.

 

Athlete Services:

  • Intuitive training plan built weekly based on athlete’s availability/strengths & weaknesses/progression/goals

  • Unlimited communication via email/text/phone consult/facetime

  • Unlimited schedule changes

  • Benchmark testing/goal setting/race strategy

  • Feedback analysis via TrainingPeaks.com software comments/phone consult/facetime

  • Forum membership via Rx3 Facebook page where coaches and athlete discuss racing and training

 

Bells & Whistles:

  • Best Bike Split power file for all Rx3 athlete races

  • Specific nutrition/hydration race strategy build on results of sweat test/lab testing

  • Capture software video analysis of specific sessions/races/performance management chart

  • Video analysis and feedback of biomechanics of any swim/bike/run/strength protocol

 

*Dynamic Coaching athletes will receive the same on-boarding process. Intuitive training plans will be built in 1 month blocks. Dynamic athletes will also have unlimited communication via email, and all feedback protocols given once per training block. Sorry Dynamic athletes, but no Bells & Whistles.

Coach Harold

In addition to completing countless races, including more than 25 Ironman distance triathlons, Coach Harold also holds a master’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Following suit with many great exercise physiologists before him, Harold has applied his knowledge of principles, scientific literature, and practical application to his coaching practice. Coach Harold has over 15 years’ experience working with athletes with much success. He has networked and collaborated with many great coaches, professional, and amateur athletes.

 

For more than 15 years, Coach Harold has guided athletes to their first finish lines, to the Boston Marathon, to the Ironman World Championships, and every endurance event in between. He has also worked extensively in the field of Strength Coaching which has given Harold experience working with professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, and several Olympic sports. Harold believes in proper physiological assessment and the understanding that improvement comes from consistent and disciplined work.

 

There are no get rich quick schemes in triathlon. Only determination and healthy progress over time breeds successful performance. Coach Harold’s foundations and principles are proper physiological assessment, proper lifestyle and goal assessments, intelligent training plans that target specific parameters of each individual athlete, and proper balance of family, work, life, and sport.
